YogaCalm specialises in hatha and restorative yoga for students of all ages, levels of fitness and experience - including unfit beginners. Classes focus upon learning to attune respectfully to your body's capacities with techniques of breath awareness, grounding, centring, alignment and relaxation. Cultivating breath awareness during movement and stillness is the basis for practicing yoga with ease and gradual unfoldment of strength, flexibility and poise.


The broad range of YogaCalm classes enable you to vary your yoga practice. Your body's rhythms and needs change constantly, yet in our schedule-driven culture we rarely have the luxury of listening to our own needs. You could come to a Restorative class when feeling stressed or unwell, or when menstruating, as a break from your usual class. General classes provide a stronger workout, balanced with gentle integrating poses and relaxation at the close of the class.


The YogaCalm Studio is fully equipped with non-slip mats and yoga aids and supports that encourage safe, easy practice within your own capabilities.
Class sizes are small, providing an ideal environment to learn and refine yoga practice.
